What is Corporate Identification Number ?

The corporate identification number is the only unique identifier for the company registered in India, in compliance with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. It’s 21 digits long, to be used in the process of tracking and monitoring of company activities, compliance, and regulatory filings. Such a CIN is essentially required for all the transactions and government-related activities conducted for a company, which could include annual filings, taxes, and audits, too. It verifies the authenticity of and its legal status.
